Basketball Game Preview: Caldwell Cougars vs. Emmett Huskies

Caldwell hasn't had much luck against Emmett recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Caldwell Cougars will be playing at home against the Emmett Huskies at 7:30 p.m.

Last Monday, Caldwell was beaten by Bishop Kelly 65-15. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 130th, while the Knights are ranked 48th).

Meanwhile, in Wednesday's Canine Competition, Emmett prevailed. They enjoyed a cozy 40-23 win over Nampa on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Huskies.

This is the second loss in a row for Caldwell and nudges their season record down to 4-11. As for Emmett, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.
