Basketball Game Recap: Ray Bearcats vs. El Capitan/Centennial Academy

The Ray Bearcats lost against El Capitan/Centennial Academy back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Ray was beaten by El Capitan/Centennial Academy 42-8. Ray has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Malena Goad was Ray's leading scorer, having posted four points. Brett Scaggs held things down on the boards with seven rebounds.

Ray's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for El Capitan/Centennial Academy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Music Mountain the next time they take the court. El Capitan/Centennial Academy will head out to face Music Mountain at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Ray will head out to face them at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
