Volleyball Recap: Temecula Valley Golden Bears vs. Mira Costa Mustangs

Temecula Valley and Mira Costa squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Temecula Valley had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Mira Costa Mustangs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Golden Bears of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2019.

Temecula Valley was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-16, 25-17.

Even though they lost, Temecula Valley couldn't miss and finished the game having scored on 82.6% of their attack attempts. The last time their hitting percentage was this high was back in September.
