Basketball Recap: Ingleside's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Ingleside can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 41-32 victory over the Calhoun Sandcrabs. This was a revenge game for the Mustangs: when they faced off against the Sandcrabs back in January, they had to take a 45-39 loss.

Ingleside's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 17-14. As for Calhoun, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-21 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ingleside will venture away from home to square off against Sinton at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Ingleside has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Calhoun has already played their next match (against St. Joseph), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
