Basketball Game Preview: Los Amigos Lobos vs. Estancia Eagles

Los Amigos is 2-7 against Estancia since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Los Amigos Lobos will head out to square off against the Estancia Eagles at 6:00 p.m.

Last Friday, Los Amigos ended up a good deal behind Savanna and lost 64-47. The Lobos were down 48-27 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, Estancia had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They skirted past Rancho Alamitos 49-47. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since December 5, 2024.

Estancia's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-20. As for Los Amigos, their loss dropped their record down to 14-12.

Everything came up roses for Los Amigos against Estancia in their previous meeting back in January, as the squad secured a 72-30 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Los Amigos since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
