Despite their loss, Macedonian Christian saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Ty Morgan, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Morgan is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games he's played. Jacob Mendoza was another key player, shooting 55% from the field to rack up 17 points and three steals.

Meanwhile, IDEA Edinburg College Prep waltzed into their game on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 51-39 victory over the Blue Devil.

Macedonian Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for IDEA Edinburg College Prep, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
