Softball Game Preview: Rains Wildcats vs. Winnsboro Raiders

The Rains Wildcats will challenge the Winnsboro Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Rains knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Winnsboro likes a good challenge.

On Tuesday, Rains got the win against Prairiland by a conclusive 13-1. Considering the Wildcats have won nine matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Winnsboro lost 9-1 to Mount Vernon on Tuesday.

Rains' victory bumped their record up to 12-9-1. As for Winnsboro, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.
