Volleyball Recap: New Dorp Comes Up Short

New Dorp was the 2-0 winner over Wagner when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Central Cougars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons on Thursday. The Central Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

New Dorp's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Wagner, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Dorp will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Tottenville at 4:30 p.m. on the 23rd. After both having extra time off, Wagner and McKee Vo-Tech will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:30 p.m. on the 21st. The Seagulls will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight.
