Volleyball Recap: Hagerty Comes Up Short

Hagerty lost against Lake Brantley last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Huskies took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots.

Lake Brantley was led to victory by Efrain L. Rivera Rodriguez and Kaliel Caraballo. Rivera Rodriguez had 15 assists and four digs, while Caraballo had 11 assists. Rivera Rodriguez is crushing it when it comes to assists: he's posted at least 12 every time he's taken the court this season.

Hagerty has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for Lake Brantley, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 15-2.

Coincidentally, Hagerty and Lake Brantley will both be playing Windermere the next time they take the court. The Patriots will head out to face the Wolverines at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Huskies will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
