Softball Recap: Eastern Hancock Royals vs. Lapel Bulldogs

Eastern Hancock dropped their record down to 10-8 on Friday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins at home. They came up short against the Lapel Bulldogs, falling 10-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Royals haven't been shut out since back in April.

Eastern Hancock saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addisyn Trackwell, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Trackwell has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

As for Lapel, their record is now 16-5. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won nine games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Coming up, Eastern Hancock is taking a road trip to challenge North Decatur at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
