Chambers/Wheeler Central is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Riverside: they outscored them in every quarter. Chambers/Wheeler Central put the hurt on Riverside with a sharp 46-20 win on Thursday. The game marked the Renegades' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Chambers/Wheeler Central got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Annabel Waldo out in front who posted 15 points. Ella Moses was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Central Valley). They came out on top against Elba by a score of 44-35 on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Cougars as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

One of the most notable was Annaka Wood, who had 13 points along with six rebounds and five assists. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Maggie Kriewald, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 13 boards.

Central Valley was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Chambers/Wheeler Central has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Central Valley, they picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-4.
