Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Scottsdale Preparatory Academy). Everything went their way against the Apache Junction Prospectors on Thursday as they made off with a 36-13 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Spartans needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

The win snapped Scottsdale Preparatory Academy's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-5 record. As for Apache Junction, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Scottsdale Preparatory Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Arete Prep at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Apache Junction, they will take on Horizon Honors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Prospectors are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
