Basketball Recap: Pine Hills Adventist Takes a Loss

Pine Hills Adventist was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 50-43 to the Sacramento Country Day Cavaliers. Sadly, that's the two time they've come up short against the Eagles, as the also lost their prior matchup 71-50 last Tuesday.

Despite the loss, Pine Hills Adventist still got an impressive performance from Brennan Reese, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 boards. Reese has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more blocks the last 11 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Luke Childers, who posted 13 points and five rebounds.

Pine Hills Adventist's record now sits at 0-3. As for Sacramento Country Day, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-1.

Pine Hills Adventist will challenge Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sacramento Country Day, they will host Marysville at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
