Basketball Game Preview: Perry Ramblers vs. Saranac Redhawks

The Perry Ramblers are taking a road trip to take on the Saranac Redhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Perry has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 8.

Last Wednesday, Perry was beaten by Pewamo-Westphalia 64-12. While losing is never fun, the Ramblers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 526th, while the Pirates are ranked 28th).

Meanwhile, Saranac can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 50-49 victory over Fulton.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Saranac, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Perry came up short against Saranac in their previous meeting back in December of 2025, falling 50-41. Can the Ramblers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
