Football Recap: Upper Darby Takes a Loss

Upper Darby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 17-13 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ridley Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Royals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 244th, while the Raiders are ranked 82nd).

Upper Darby's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Ridley, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Upper Darby is set to square off against their familiar foe Penncrest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Ridley will take on rival Harriton at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
