Soccer Recap: SouthLake Christian Academy Comes Up Short

SouthLake Christian Academy lost against Asheville School (Independent) back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles fell just short of the Blues by a score of 3-2. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but SouthLake Christian Academy couldn't quite close it out.

Anthony Alexanian and Josiah Stein scored both of SouthLake Christian Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

SouthLake Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Asheville School (Independent), the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.

Looking ahead, SouthLake Christian Academy will venture away from home to challenge Concord Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Asheville School (Independent), they will welcome Asheville Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
