Basketball Recap: Eastern Find Success

Eastern won the last time they faced Georgetown and things went their way on Saturday too. The Eastern Warriors came out on top against the Georgetown G-Men by a score of 41-28.

Georgetown's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jade Osman, who posted 11 points.

Eastern's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Georgetown, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eastern will square off against Lynchburg-Clay at 6:45 p.m. on January 6th. As for Georgetown, they will head out to face off against Bethel-Tate at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
