Baseball Recap: Atlantic Takes a Loss

Atlantic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Glenwood Rams. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 7-4 to the Rams when the teams met back in July of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Atlantic's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Glenwood, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Atlantic will venture away from home to face off against Harlan at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Glenwood, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 16-3 defeat against Jefferson on the 30th.
