Basketball Recap: Frewsburg Extends Home Winning Streak to Eight

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Frewsburg walked away with it. They enjoyed a cozy 58-44 win over the Keshequa Indians on Saturday. The victory was nothing new for the Bears as they're now sitting on four straight.

Frewsburg got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Teghan Trocki out in front who went 7-for-11 on her way to 18 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jadyn Trocki, who posted ten points in addition to six assists and six steals.

Frewsburg's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-5. As for Keshequa, the loss snapped their winning streak at 15 games and leaves them with a 17-2 record.

Looking ahead, Frewsburg will face off against Tuckahoe at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. Frewsburg is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 65.4 points per game this season. Keshequa does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
