Football Game Preview: Mary Walker Chargers vs. Columbia Lions

The Mary Walker Chargers will face off against the Columbia Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mary Walker is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

On Friday, Mary Walker took a blow against Inchelium, falling 54-26.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Columbia). They came out on top against Davenport by a score of 52-40 on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Lions considering their 12-point performance the game before.

Mary Walker's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Columbia, they moved to 2-4 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Mary Walker beat Columbia 36-26 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Will the Chargers repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
