Baseball Recap: Andover Gets the Win

After losing to Rosemount the last time they met, Andover decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Huskies skirted past the Irish 10-8.

The team relied heavily on Danny Scheller, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Myers, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Andover always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. The last time their OBP was this high was was before the start of last season.

Andover's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Rosemount, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.

Andover wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 6-2 loss against Moorhead on the 22nd. Rosemount does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
