Soccer Recap: Glenwood Comes Up Short

Glenwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Treynor Cardinals. Glenwood were not able to make up for their loss to Treynor from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Glenwood's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4-1. As for Treynor, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1-2.

Glenwood has already played their next contest (against Non Varsity Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Treynor, they will be playing at home against West Central Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. West Central Valley will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Treynor surely won't give up without a fight.
