Soccer Game Preview: Ridgeview vs. John Battle

Ridgeview is 0-10 against John Battle since May of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. Ridgeview will face off against John Battle at 5:30 p.m.

Ridgeview came up short against Lebanon on Friday, falling 6-1. Ridgeview were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-0.

Meanwhile, John Battle hadn't done well against Richlands recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. John Battle never let Richlands get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what John Battle needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

This is the second loss in a row for Ridgeview and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for John Battle, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Ridgeview suffered a grim 6-0 defeat to John Battle when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can Ridgeview avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
