Volleyball Recap: Bartlett Takes a Loss

Bartlett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Woodstock North Thunder.

Among those leading the charge was Kayla Smiley, who had 13 digs and one assist. Those 13 digs gave her a new career-high.

Bartlett's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Woodstock North, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-3.

Coincidentally, Bartlett and Woodstock North will both be playing Genoa-Kingston the next time they take the court. The Thunder will head out to face the Cogs at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Hawks will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
