After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Muenster, Nocona was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Alvord Bulldogs with a sharp 12-6 victory. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won five contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Reagan Phipps was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off ten hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-5.

In other batting news, Heidi Atteberry and Skye Kirby did most of the damage at the plate: Atteberry scored two runs and stole three bases while going 4-for-5, while Kirby went 3-for-5 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. Atteberry also put up a double, which was her first of the season.
