Football Recap: Guilford Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Guilford lost against Cheshire back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Grizzlies took a 24-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams.

Despite the loss, Guilford still got an impressive performance from Aiden Ruotolo, who rushed for 129 yards and one touchdown on only 14 carries, and also picked up 60 receiving yards and one TD. Alex Tafro was another key player, throwing for 144 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Guilford's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Cheshire, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Guilford will host Stamford at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Cheshire, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Wilton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
