Softball Recap: Hoover Comes Up Short

Hoover lost against Exeter back in March of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Hoover fell just short of Exeter by a score of 4-3. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hoover's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Exeter, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Hoover has already played their next contest, a 17-2 defeat against Avenal on the 22nd. Exeter has also already played their next game (against Roosevelt), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
