Volleyball Recap: Futures Takes a Loss

Futures's tournament run continued when they took on Bear River on Saturday. The Futures Knights fell 2-0 to the Bear River Bruins. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Futures ultimately came up short, they really made Bear River work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was Luke Jeffers, who had six aces and one block. Those six aces gave him a new career-high.

Futures' defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Bear River, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Futures wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Western Sierra Collegiate Academy on the 8th. As for Bear River, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Encina on the 8th.
