Baseball Recap: Algoma Takes a Loss

The Algoma Wolves didn't have quite enough to beat the Cedar Grove-Belgium Rockets on Tuesday and fell 7-6.

Algoma has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.67 runs. As for Cedar Grove-Belgium, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Algoma wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 14-0 win against Waterloo on the 26th. As for Cedar Grove-Belgium, they have also already played their next contest, a 12-2 victory against Oostburg on the 24th.
