Algoma extended their winning streak to three on Saturday, bumping their season record up to 6-8 in the process. They never let the Brillion Lions get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The Wolves' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

As for Brillion, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. The game marked the first time this year in which they were not able to get on the board.

For Brillion's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joe Shimek, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and one stolen base.

Looking ahead, Algoma will challenge Sevastopol at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolves are facing the Pioneers at the right time seeing as the Pioneers are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Brillion, they will take on Mishicot at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
