Volleyball Recap: Bowler Triumphs

While Bowler's victory against White Lake wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Lakers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since September 21, 2024.

Bowler wouldn't go down easily and took White Lake into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The final score came out to 25-27, 25-22, 25-14, 23-25, 15-11.

Libby Carrington paced Bowler's offense, picking up 15 kills. Carrington got some help from Jessa Hartleben and her 16 assists. Audrina Klose controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

White Lake's loss on Tuesday came despite strong showings from Kianna Boyd and Arianna Boyd. Kianna had seven aces, while Arianna had 14 digs and nine aces. Arianna has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Bowler's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for White Lake, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Bowler wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Hilbert on the 11th. As for White Lake, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Marion on the 11th.
