Baseball Game Recap: Canal Winchester Indians vs. Teays Valley Vikings

Canal Winchester entered their match against Teays Valley on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Indians might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 11-1 to the Vikings, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-2 back in April.

This is the second loss in a row for Canal Winchester and nudges their season record down to 9-7. As for Teays Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Canal Winchester wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 8-2 win against Logan on the 7th. Teays Valley has also already played their next match (against St. Charles), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
