It's playoff time, and Zapata had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Rockport-Fulton Pirates by a score of 9-5 on Saturday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-1 victory on Saturday.

Zapata has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-17-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Rockport-Fulton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 27-8.
