Basketball Recap: Council Comes Up Short

Council lost against Grundy back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Council Cobras had to suffer through a 77-36 loss at the hands of the Grundy Golden Wave. The Cobras have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Council's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Grundy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Council has already played their next contest (against Castlewood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Grundy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 77-36 victory against Council on the 12th.
