            Basketball Recap: Crestview Rebels vs. Canton South Wildcats        
        
		
        
        
            Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Crestview couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell to the Canton South Wildcats  46-42.

 Addison Rhodes and  Luvrain Gaskins certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss.  Rhodes  dropped  a double-double with 21 points and 13  boards, while  Gaskins  almost  dropped  a triple-double with ten  points, 18  rebounds,  and nine  blocks. Rhodes is  on a roll when it comes to  points, as she's  now  scored 17 or more in each of the last 20 games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Bri DiCross, who  posted five points and seven  rebounds.
 Even though they lost, Crestview  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 11  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least 11  offensive rebounds in three consecutive  games.
Crestview's loss dropped their record down to 21-4. As for Canton South, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-7.
 Crestview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Canton South, they will square off against Liberty-Benton at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Liberty-Benton will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something Canton South surely won't give up without a fight.
