After four games on the road, McLaurin is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Piney Woods Tornadoes at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Mississippi (McLaurin is ranked 157th, while Piney Woods is ranked 153rd).

Last Friday, the stars were shining brightly for McLaurin in a 64-50 victory over Pisgah. With that win, McLaurin brought their scoring average up to 51 points per game.

Michael Wallace was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. That makes it 13 consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of McLaurin's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendell Clark, who scored six points along with nine rebounds.

Meanwhile, Piney Woods unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak dating back to last season last Thursday. They lost to Northeast Lauderdale on the road by a decisive 66-50 margin.

McLaurin's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Piney Woods, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-1.
