River Ridge has gone 9-1 against West Carroll recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The River Ridge Wildcats just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the West Carroll Thunder at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

River Ridge came up short against East Dubuque on Tuesday, falling 61-36. The game marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, West Carroll was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 45-43 heartbreaker at the hands of Christian Life.

River Ridge dropped their record down to 10-14 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for West Carroll, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-18.

Everything came up roses for River Ridge against West Carroll in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 60-28 win. Will River Ridge repeat their success, or does West Carroll have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
