Volleyball Recap: Petersburg Comes Up Short

Petersburg lost against Ketchikan on Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Vikings lost 3-0 to the Kings. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Petersburg was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-23, 25-17.

Petersburg's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Ketchikan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-18-4.

Petersburg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Wrangell on the 6th. Ketchikan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
