The Santa Rosa Academy Rangers will square off against the Silver Valley Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Santa Rosa Academy's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Silver Valley has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
On Friday, Santa Rosa Academy humbled Temecula Prep with a 46-6 victory. That 40 point margin sets a new team best for the Rangers this season.

Santa Rosa Academy relied on the efforts of Jacob Goode, who rushed for 78 yards and two scores on only nine carries, and Nate Bock, who gained 103 total yards and two touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Bock a new career-high in rushing yards (76). Brody Sather made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Santa Rosa Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 268 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 252 rushing yards in four consecutive games.
Santa Rosa Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Sather and Max DuPree. Sather got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Silver Valley scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of Trinity Classical Academy by a score of 39-36. Despite 112 more yards than the Knights, the Trojans couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.
Santa Rosa Academy will have to contain Noah Durrah as he made an impact in Silver Valley's last game. He rushed for 308 yards and four TDs while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. With that strong performance, Durrah is now averaging an impressive 149.8 rushing yards per game.
Silver Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Santa Rosa Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.
Everything came up roses for Santa Rosa Academy against Silver Valley when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 43-0 win. Will the Rangers repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
