Soccer Recap: Kentwood Comes Up Short

Kentwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Auburn Trojans. That's two games in a row now that Kentwood have lost by just one goal.

Kentwood's loss dropped their record down to 0-10-6. As for Auburn, they moved to 3-12-2 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Kentwood has already played their next matchup, a 1-0 victory against Mt. Rainier on the 6th. As for Auburn, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-1 defeat against Auburn Mountainview on the 3rd.
