Recap: Anna Coyotes vs. Ranchview Wolves
The Anna Coyotes posted their biggest victory yet this season on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 69-33 win over Ranchview at home. Anna pushed the score to 47-25 by the end of the third, a deficit Ranchview had little chance of recovering from.
Anna had a senior duo take command as Charles Johnson dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds and Jacob Emmers scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Grayson Stewart, who scored seven points along with five steals.
Anna pushed their record up to 14-12 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.6 points per game. As for Ranchview, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-16.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Anna's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Aubrey at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. Aubrey has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Ranchview, they will be playing at home against Celina at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Celina presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Ranchview in Texas (Celina is ranked 307th, while Ranchview is ranked 707th).
