St. Paul is 9-1 against New London since October of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Flyers will venture away from home to take on the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. New London took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on St. Paul, who comes in off a win.

St. Paul can't be too worried about heading out to take on New London: they just beat Old Fort at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. The Flyers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Stockaders on Wednesday. The win was nothing new for the Flyers as they're now sitting on three straight.

While St. Paul won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15, 26-24.

Meanwhile, New London came up short against Monroeville on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 24-26, 25-15, 25-22.

New London's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for St. Paul, their victory bumped their record up to 14-6.

St. Paul took their win against New London in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Flyers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
