Football Game Preview: Clear Lake Falcons vs. Deer Park Deer + How To Watch

After each having a week off, the Clear Lake Falcons and the Deer Park Deer will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Clear Lake has struggled recently with six defeats in a row, while Deer Park will arrive with four straight wins.

Clear Lake is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Dickinson last Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Falcons had to suffer through a 71-14 loss at the hands of the Gators. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 58-0.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Deer Park). They breezed past Clear Brook to the tune of 70-14 last Friday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Deer's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 119th, while the Wolverines are ranked 750th).

Deer Park's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Clear Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
