Baseball Game Preview: Sts. Peter & Paul Sabres vs. Delmarva Christian Royals

The Sts. Peter & Paul Sabres will head out on the road to square off against the Delmarva Christian Royals at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Sts. Peter & Paul comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

On Friday, Sts. Peter & Paul came up short against Chapelgate Christian Academy and fell 8-3.

While Delmarva Christian didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-10), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past MOT Charter 11-1 on Thursday. Considering the Royals have won three matches by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Kasey Bell was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and four runs. Another player making a difference was Malachi Jones, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

The win made it two in a row for Delmarva Christian and bumps their season record up to 6-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 runs in those games. As for Sts. Peter & Paul, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-13.
