Volleyball Recap: Sahuarita Mustangs vs. Douglas Bulldogs

Sahuarita won the last time they faced Douglas and Paige Clarke did her part to make sure it happened again. The Mustangs put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 victory on Monday with plenty of help from Clarke, who had nine digs, two aces, and one block. She has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played.

Sahuarita's got stronger as the match went on, holding Douglas to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-17, 25-10.

Sahuarita found their leader in sophomore Clarke, who had nine digs, two aces, and one block. Kendal Tamietti also set a new season-high mark in kills with eight.
