Basketball Recap: Shore Regional Sets Scoring Season-High Against Arts

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Shore Regional). They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Arts Jaguars 73-41. The Blue Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 20 points or more this season.

Shore Regional had a senior duo take command as Reese Fiore went 8-for-20 on her way to 20 points and seven boards and Kimi Sayson posted 18 points and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Coyle, who put up 14 points.

Shore Regional has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season. As for Arts, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shore Regional will welcome Holmdel at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Arts, they will be playing at home against Belleville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
