Baseball Recap: West Orange's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

West Orange lost against Caldwell last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mountaineers fell just short of the Chiefs by a score of 6-5.

West Orange's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-7. As for Caldwell, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

West Orange and Caldwell should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings. The Mountaineers (ranked 131st) will meet Barringer (ranked 305th) at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Caldwell will challenge St. Benedict's Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (97 vs. 248).
