Softball Recap: Gretna Dragons vs. Gretna East Griffins
Gretna put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They beat the Gretna East Griffins by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 10-0. The Dragons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 contests by six runs or more this season.
Gretna pushed their record up to 19-0 with that victory, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Gretna East, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gretna will venture away from home to square off against Hastings on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Hastings: 3.4, Gretna: 0.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Gretna East, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Norris at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
