Basketball Recap: Cramerton Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Cramerton Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost to the Union Grove Christian Patriots on the road by a 40-26 margin. The game marked the Crusaders' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Union Grove Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Taylor Hanes, who posted eight points along with ten rebounds and three steals. Hanes has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last four times she's played. Klaire Cromer was another key player, going 6 of 12 on her way to 15 points and five rebounds.

Cramerton Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Union Grove Christian, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 11-8.

Cramerton Christian Academy will face off against Triad Baptist Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Union Grove Christian, they will square off against Faith Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
