It was a good run, but New Covenant Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Billings Wildcats by a score of 8-7. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Nick Ingle was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Caleb Cagle, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

New Covenant Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Billings, their victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

New Covenant Academy has already played their next contest (against Mansfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Billings, they will challenge Clever at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
